We have multiple application options to suit all different hair types. Hand Tied methods are the most popular at the moment and involve beads being attached to the hair in a row along the scalp. The extension hair is then sewn onto the row using a thread. Tape ins are also an undetectable way to add volume as well as individual strands.
Handtied extensions typically need to be removed and reinstalled every 6-8 weeks. Tape In extensions typically need to be removed and reinstalled every 4-6 weeks. Both move up estimates depend on your individual hair texture and how fast your hair grows.
Absolutely! We use multiple hair extension brands as well as offer custom coloring options to ensure your extension will match perfectly!
Not at all! Having extensions can actually extend the life of your style because the extension hair holds hot iron curls much longer than your natural hair. It is important, however, to keep them clean, dry and brushed.
Extensions need to be brushed carefully beginning at the ends and working upwards towards the root at least twice a day. They also need to be kept away from chlorine, chemical sunscreen, and saltwater which will alter the color of the hair extensions and can ruin them permanently. The root area should be dried using a hair dryer after washing to maintain a healthy scalp. We have a great selection of styling products that will help lengthen the life of your extensions.
Depending on the method and desired look, extensions can take as little as 1 hour for lower maintenance looks and as long as 2-3 hours for clients looking for maximum length and fullness.
There are two costs to consider when thinking about hair extensions, first being the hair itself. This cost can range from $200-$300 and go as high at $1500 or more depending on how much hair is needed and at what length for the desired look. The second cost is the installation fee, which can vary between $150 and $250 per row. (some people will need just one row, some will need three). We will only be able to appropriately quote the cost after a thorough consultation with an extension specialist.
I went here this week and had a wonderful experience! Daniella was my stylist and did a beautiful job. I have long dark brown hair and she did blonde balayage on me with a haircut. She is highly experienced! She listened to me first on what I wanted my hair to look like and it came out better than I could have ever imagined! Thank you Daniella!
